The Mississippi Business Finance Corporation (MBFC) is committed to growing Mississippi’s businesses through incentives and financing opportunities needed to advance economic growth in all commercial and industrial sectors.
Through the use of taxable and tax-exempt structures, MBFC assists in the financing of eligible projects by serving as a conduit within the finance structure. Entities do not borrow from MBFC, but rather through MBFC, using MBFC as access to certain statutory incentives.
Since its creation in 1985, MBFC has served as the statewide conduit issuer acting on behalf of the borrower to access certain incentives, financial markets, and low-cost capital.
This formula has worked well and MBFC now looks forward to building on our progress as we all work to keep “Building Mississippi Together.”
